Recently, feasibility studies have started for Thackson's Well Wind Farm, a wind farm scheme near Long Bennington, comprising up to 10 turbines. If realised the wind farm could save up to 52,000 tonnes of CO2 and serve up to 12,800 homes with electricity annually. With this renewable energy project in the area, South Kesteven could make a considerable contribution in battling climate change! Please read our press release.
