Thackson's Well Farm

The proposed site for the wind farm is on agricultural land at Thackson’s Well Farm, close to the A1. We are looking at the Thackson's Well site for a wind farm scheme comprising up to 10 turbines.

If constructed, the turbines would:

  • serve up to 12,800 homes annually
  • save up to 52,000 tonnes of the greenhouse gas CO2
  • generate up to 23 MW (megawatts) of energy

This means that a wind farm of this size would meet the needs of approximately 25% of all the households in the South Kesteven local authority area.
